OUR STORY
Welcome to The Real Parents blog, where we believe that life is for living, and we’re here to share our adventures with you! We’re Jesse Parent and Tia Renee Parent, a husband and wife team with two amazing kids, Warren and Morgan. Based in Michigan, we love to travel the state and explore new places together as a family. We also love good food, DIY projects, fitness, and just living overall happy lives. We know that not everything we do may seem conventional, but we do what we love, and that’s what matters most to us.
We’re not just bloggers – we’re also entrepreneurs. We run a retail store that specializes in overstock, liquidation, return, and new merchandise. We also have an ecommerce business, Cranberry Lake Designs, that offers unique and fun designs on shoes, apparel, home goods, and hand-made, clean-scent soy wax candles. We love what we do, and we’re excited to share our experiences with you.
Our blog is not only a way for us to document our adventures, but also a way to potentially increase our family income through affiliate marketing. We’ll share posts and articles chronicling our life journeys, with no strings attached. Meet Jesse Parent, a dedicated family man, music lover, and adventure seeker. He is a fitness enthusiast who values health and wellness and enjoys staying active. Jesse is also a successful business owner, running a retail store specializing in overstock, liquidation, return, and new merchandise. He is one of the co-writers and creators of this blog page and loves sharing his experiences and adventures with others. Jesse is always seeking new thrills and enjoys trying new things, from exploring the great outdoors to discovering new music. His passion for life and sense of adventure are contagious, and he is always up for a new challenge.
Meet Tia Renee, a wife and mother of two who has a passion for adventure, creating, and exploring new places. She loves to travel, cook, and spend time with her family in her home state of Michigan. Tia is one of the co-writers and creators of this blog page and the owner/designer of Cranberry Lake Designs, where you can find her fun graphic print shirts, shoes, and more apparel and home goods, along with her line of handmade, non-toxic soy candles with clean scents. Tia’s creative spirit and dedication to her family and pursuing her dreams are what she lives for!
